The Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Lithuania are traditionally held in late September.
According to the Belarusian Embassy in Lithuania, the Days of Culture will last from 22 September to 30 October and will open with concerts of the State Symphony Orchestra of Belarus conducted by Alexander Anisimov in Marijampole and Kaunas.

The grand opening of the Days of Culture will take place on 24 September in the Lithuanian National Philharmonic. The orchestra conducted by Alexander Anisimov will perform works by Piotr Tchaikovsky, Dmitry Smolsky, George Gershwin and Johann Strauss. On the same day an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the great Belarusian poet Yanka Kupala will open in the Adam Mickiewicz library.

In recent years, the geography of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus in Lithuania has expanded. This time the new destinations are the towns of Marijampole and Anyksciai, which in September-October will welcome the folk group Kupalinka, Irina Dorofeeva’s song theater, Minsk Chamber Orchestra, the cinema actor theater-studio, Mogilev Drama Theater and the Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater. The 17th Festival of Belarusian Song will traditionally take place in Visaginas. In Kaunas, the Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater will show the musical “The Westside Story”.

The Belarusian Autumn in Lithuania, as the Days of Culture of Belarus are often referred to, will close on 30 October with the performance “The Fountain of Bakhchisaraii” in the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater.
